Inflation is only mostly dead
The latest figures on inflation came out this morning.
Zip. Zero. Bupkis. No change to the headline consumer price index July to August.
Inflation in this economy is once again dead, it would seem, but there was a bump of eight tenths percent from July a year ago. That leads me back to this scene from “The Princess Bride.” We’ve used it before, but it’s just too good.
