TEXT OF STORY

Kai Ryssdal: This final note today. President Obama spent most of the past 100 days trying to save the global economy. You?

FOLKS IN DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES: I quit my job in January. I was an engineer. But I’ve been managing my own tax practice, so it was my first big leap to being an entrepreneur….

I have climbed Yosemite Falls….

I stopped partying a lot….

I bought a bike, and I’ve been riding around….

Nothing spectacular. Nothing worth mentioning. Except, I had a baby. I had a baby!

RYSSDAL: That was D.J. Mendonza, Jennifer Westphal, Sandra Lopez, Jorge Garcia and Mohamad Elaravi here in downtown Los Angeles looking back at their last 100 days.
