Computer Grandparents

John Moe May 14, 2010

Our pal Glenn Fleishman pointed to this item through his Twitter feed the other day and there’s something immensely charming about it. Folks at the Panic blog were able to load some computer code originally created for CASSETTE on to a new iPad and then on to an old Apple IIe. That story makes me weep. It’s like watching a grandchild nurture its grandparent,” Glenn says.

On the somehow less charming side, not sure why, just isn’t, is news of a successful installation of Windows 3.1 on to an Android phone.
