GPS Glasses!

John Moe Aug 5, 2010

Yesterday we talked about some engineers in Austin, Texas who hooked up electrodes to their faces and played Super Mario Bros using only their eyeballs. Weird Tech Eyeball Story Week continues with a prototype of GPS glasses from Japan, which is really the world capital of bizarre personal tech stories (sorry Austin, keep trying). The glasses determine where you are and where you’re facing and guide you to a destination that you enter…somehow… using little LED lights that look ridiculous. It’s called a Wearable Personal Navigation System and it’s ugly as anything.
