Musician, songwriter, producer, and now author Dave Stewart joined host Kai Ryssdal in the studio today for an interview to air next week on Marketplace about his new book Business Playground
Best known for his work with Eurythmics, Stewart’s musical credits are long and diverse, including co-writing songs for Tom Petty (“Don’t Come Around Here No More,”) and Mick Jagger (“The Blind Leading The Blind”). More recently he wrote the theme song to the Stand Up To Cancer telethon that recently aired across all network raising $80 million for cancer research. Stewart also produced and co-wrote Stevie Nicks’ forthcoming solo album which will come out early 2011, and has his own solo album coming out next year.
