Mozilla labs imagines phone of the future

Steve Henn Sep 24, 2010

Want a peek at a phone that would make all those iPhone carrying hipsters green with envy? Check out the Mozilla Seabird (or at least the animated video of the Mozilla Seabird).

It a concept developed by Mozilla labs, the folks that brought you the Firefox browser. And it relies on projectors built into the side of phone. What’s cool is that users can interact with the images the projectors create. So if you set the seabird on a table it can project two halves of a full side keyboard on either side of the phone – and you can type away at full speed.
