Texting bans for drivers don’t make much difference

This according to a new study. Because if you’re stupid enough to text while driving, are you really going to follow laws? I didn’t think so.

The authors even try to suggest a mechanism by which a ban might increase accident rates: texters might now be concealing their phones, and have their attention focused further from the road ahead while driving.
