Lots of oil and gas stories today. The Obama administration lifted its moratorium on deepwater drilling in the Gulf of Mexico, so thousands of people who have been out of work can be rehired. But the impact of the BP oil spill might have serious ripple effects for the oil industry. Over in Europe, the European Commission is considering a deepwater drilling moratorium of its own. Also, the EPA is expected to announce an increase in the amount of ethanol allowed in gasoline. In other news, we have a story about paying fees to pay your bills and cell phone bill shock. In the U.K., public spending cuts may lead to thousands of jobs being lost in the private sector. And we also look at whether the Las Vegas economy is bouncing back and the NFL labor fight.
