De-Facebook the web

9 hours ago, a Google engineer tweeted: “After more privacy bad news, I wrote a Chrome extension to stop Facebook from following you around the web.” As our guest in today’s show says, the most recent privacy breech is the same privacy breech that’s been around since 2009. Here’s the extension that will block third party sites (there are now over a million of them) from sending your data to Facebook as part of the Facebook Connect feature. The engineer says Google has in no way endorsed this project.
