ZeuS is trickier still, eviller still

The evil genius malware is trying a new technique to thwart the researchers who are going after it. Bad guys are setting up fake interfaces in the botnet to trick people into thinking there’s an easy way in. Once you use it, boom, you’re infected.

“This admin interface acts as a ‘hacker honeypot’ that records detailed information about who attempted to access the admin console, as well as who attempted to hack into it,” the post explains. In a nice touch, the phony login accepts default or easily guessed login credentials.
