Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Download Band

John Moe Nov 16, 2010

It’s been rumored for years but something or other has always held it up until today. It’s important to note that the tension and enmity between the band and the computer company dates all the way back to the 1970s, due to the shared use of the word Apple between record label and computer maker. If Jobs and Wozniak had just gone with Orange or Banana or Kumquat, we all would have been able to download Rubber Soul ages ago. Alas.

Meanwhile, all eyes are now on other musicians still holding out. (just kidding, no eyes are on Kid Rock).
And Fox News calls the band “Manchester’s favorite mopheads”. We report! You decide!
