Of two dollars that is!
The souped-up version of Hulu (with more content, previous seasons of shows) has been available for a while now, first requiring an invite and later dropping that requirement.
Now the price has dropped two bucks from ten dollars a month to eight. They don’t say why the price is falling so shortly after launch but I’m going to go out on a limb and say it’s because no one is signing up. I know, call me crazy.
The situation does point to a very competitive and complicated landscape for streaming content and TV in general right now. Netflix is going gangbusters with its selection and platform flexibility, Google TV is getting doors slammed in its face by networks. Hulu is owned in part by several networks. Those meetings must be an absolute blast.
