Houses blurred by Google Street View in Germany get egged

John Moe Nov 23, 2010

Our pal and frequent guest on the show Danny Sullivan brought this story to our attention today. In Germany, you can choose to opt out of Google Street View and your house will appear as a blur on the program. Some of those houses were egged over the weekend, the vandals leaving behind notes that said “Google’s cool”. So these were vandals who were…Google…fans?

Danny asked Google for a response and they said, “We respect people’s decision to opt out and by no means consider this to be acceptable behavior.”
