Microsoft joins complaint against Google

John Moe Dec 14, 2010

Google has been trying for several months now to acquire a software company called ITA, which makes a product that searches airline information for pricing, availability, everything you would need to book flights. It’s a prelude to Google launching a big robust travel site, leveraging their own search power PLUS ITA’s. Expedia, Travelocity, and others have already criticized the proposed acquisition because they are ITA customers and they don’t like how that all would stack up. Now Microsoft has joined that chorus of complaints to the Justice Department.
