Video: Punching Out

Katharine Crnko Jan 17, 2011

In anticipation of his new book, “Punching Out,” Paul Clemens spent a year following the closing of an auto plant in Detroit, Michigan. He created this video to introduce the book, and to help readers visualize the message of “Punching Out.”

How does a country dismantle a century’s worth of its industrial heritage? Paul Clemens finds out when he spends a year inside a closing auto plant, the Budd plant, in Detroit, Michigan. Punching Out will be available wherever books are sold January 18, 2011.
