Apple sets up emergency iPad 2 hipster deployment station

John Moe Mar 10, 2011

Imagine the horror: you’re at SXSW and you’re walking around with the OLD iPad? Scandal! It’s enough to make you temporarily abandon your endless gaze of hipster ennui. Never fear. Apple has set up a temporary store in Austin expressly for the sale of iPad 2. It makes you kind of realize that maybe the whole timing of this iPad 2 launch was meant to match up with the festival. They’ll sell a lot of them and then those trendsetters will return to their hipster nests and set trends there as well.
