Warner Bros. expands offerings on Facebook

John Moe Mar 28, 2011

I don’t know about you, but when I’m in the mood to watch a movie, I always think “If only I could watch Yogi Bear on Facebook”. DREAMS FULFILLED. Warner Bros. is expanding the selection of movies it offers on the social network to include “Inception”, “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone”, “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets”, “Harry Potter and the Questionable Movie Platform”, “Life As We Know It”, and “Yogi Bear”. Well, most of those anyway. The test of this platform began with “The Dark Knight”. The press release says that the fan pages for the Harry Potter movies and “Inception” are two of the largest on Facebook. Obviously, I’m still dubious that anyone wants to watch movies through Facebook but maybe I’m just a grumpy old man who doesn’t understand the young people today with their rocky roll music and their long hair.
