President Obama spoke about his deficit plan today, saying that tax increases must be a part of the plan to reduce the U.S. deficit. It’s also rumored that he may be looking into cutting parts of Medicare. Commentator David Frum said that either way, Americans need to realize that sacrifices have to be made.

JPMorgan Chase announced first-quarter profits today. American Express in investing in the mobile-payment industry. Computer robots are joining the poker tables in online casinos.
