Geekaphone has released a green study of the iPhone.

Among the findings
– less than 10% of iPhones are recycled, even though Apple offers a recycling program for its phones
– iPhones bought in 2010 contribute to 2350 million kg of carbon dioxide being released into the atmosphere
– cell phones thrown away make up 65,000 tons of toxic waste each year
