Sony has data breaches on networks, chapter 89

John Moe May 24, 2011

Latest network problems seem to be happening in Greece, Japan, and Indonesia as Sony gets some of its networks up and “running” again. Sheesh. An attack in Greece, first reported by security firm Sophos, leaked a bunch of user names and passwords. The attack in Japan seems to have been conducted in part to embarrass Sony because the hackers left behind a message: “Stupid Sony, so very stupid.” Meanwhile, Sony’s music site in Indonesia was defaced by hackers.
