About those 200,000 customers affected in the Citi hack…

John Moe Jun 16, 2011

Turns out it was more like 360,083. That’s according to a new update from Citigroup about the attack that took place in May. Citi says it has issued some 200,000 new cards already. The Post posted a state by state list that seems to track roughly to population. California was affected the most with about 80,000 new cards issued. In response to the now adjusted numbers, Citi says you can go ahead and dramatically underpay your monthly bill.
