Looks that way. The New York Times reports that a Facebook app for the iPad is on the way in the next few weeks. It’s been one of those bizarre things ever since the dang iPad launched that there’s been no official app. But apparently the app has been in the works for over a year and is designed to take advantage of stuff like the iPad 2’s dual cameras, for photo and video uploading and sharing. Facebook is also optimizing its web site for the iPad, which many users have complained is clunky and difficult on the device.
