Cannibal hackers

John Moe Jul 6, 2011

We’ve heard a lot about LulzSec, Anonymous, AntiSec and the like, now a group called the A-Team is hacking… other hackers. It’s the Dexter of hackers! The A-Team is trying to expose the identities of LulzSec members to make it easier for authorities to track them down. NYTimes is calling this a “war of the egos.” Personally this whole thing seems like a schoolyard war of egos and everyone’s a total brat. These punks are getting attention because they’re being noisy. They’re also taking the public’s eye off the ball when it comes to threats. Think about it: who’s more of a threat: someone who vandalizes your house and then posts a YouTube video of it OR someone who quietly taps into your bank account and personal information and does so in a way that is impossible to detect.
