President Barack Obama introduces a plan to boost employment in rural areas, which may not have as big of an effect as it sounds. Europe tosses around the idea of a Eurobond, basically backed by Germany, to combat its debt problem. Germany has its own problem: slow GDP growth. Could its slumping economy lead to a global depression? Americans are starting to pay down their credit card debt, but are they also paying down long-term debt like mortgages and auto loans? John Dimsdale gives an update on AT&T’s purchase of T-Mobile.
