A lot is riding on President Obama’s jobs speech tonight. Ben Bernanke and the Federal Reserve may be looking into cutting interest rates even more to help out the economy. The GOP had a presidential debate last night, and the big topic was, of course, jobs. We heard about how one company is using technology, innovation and exports to help spur job creation, and about a drop in electricity usage in the U.S. Google announced that it bought restaurant reviewer Zagat. And continuing our series on the effects of 9/11, we heard about the government’s reaction after 9/11 to invest heavily in technology for homeland security. And here are the songs we played:
