The big green paywall

John Moe Sep 12, 2011

Fans of the Red Sox and Yankees may be bitter enemies, but after rolling out the paywall for the Boston Globe, their newspapers have one thing in common. Boston.com, the online site for the Boston Globe, is lawked up wicked tight.
Mashable gives a breakdown of the new pricing scheme: “The site is available for free through a sponsored trial subscription through Sept. 30. Print subscribers will continue to receive complete access to the site at no additional charge. Digital-only subscriptions are available for $3.99 per week.”
