That’s the number of minutes logged by Americans in the month of May on Facebook, according to a recent study. That’s a lot of minutes. And no other web property really comes close. Yahoo coasts in at 17.2, Google at 12.5, and – hey look at that! – AOL makes the board at 11.4. Facebook’s crushing dominance should come as a surprise to no one who walks the earth but how about the strong showing for the old dinosaur companies? Not so dead after all! A lot of that has to do with email, of course, but in our rush to crown the hippest hottest web properties, let’s not forget that the classics are still powerful. MSN came in 5th with 9.5 billion minutes.
