eBay developers’ conference kicks off today

Marc Sanchez Oct 12, 2011

It’s the first day of the company’s X.commerce conference. Reuters reports eBay is expected to announce deeper Facebook integration today. It’s also expected to announce a new service called PayPal Access. PayPal Access is supposed to make it easier for people to buy stuff on the site – you won’t need to enter your credit card numbers and billing and shipping information with this service. All Things D reports eBay is moving toward bring people into actual stores, as opposed to encouraging people to buy stuff online.
