Twitter launches Twitter Stories

John Moe Nov 2, 2011

There is often more to a tweet than the 140 or fewer characters that show up on the screen. To that end, Twitter’s new Twitter Stories site spotlights intriguing and/or inspirational tales that emerged from the microblogging site. Stuff like film critic Roger Ebert taking to Twitter after losing the ability to speak or a guy who tweeted that he needed a kidney and then he found one. Football player Chad Ochocinco took 100 of his followers out to dinner.

There’s a lot happening in the world.  Through it all, Marketplace is here for you.

You rely on Marketplace to break down the world’s events and tell you how it affects you in a fact-based, approachable way. We rely on your financial support to keep making that possible.
