The new version of Barnes & Noble’s Nook won’t officially debut until Monday at a big glammed up event. But details of what will be called the Nook Tablet (creative!) have already leaked.
According to Engadget:
Inside you’ll also find 16GB of internal storage as well as a microSD card slot which can take 32GB, battery life of something around 4 hours of video playback (with wi-fi on) or 8 hours off. This device will connect over Wi-fi only and has the same 7-inch VividView IPS display as the NOOK Color.
The tablet will come it $249, which is 50 bucks more expensive. B&N will address that by saying that for the extra money you get a lot more memory than Amazon can offer with the Kindle. To that, Amazon would likely say, well, that’s fine, we’re not about memory anyway, we’re all about connecting to the cloud.
