Sprint sues cable

Larissa Anderson Dec 20, 2011

The George Harrison of wireless carriers filed lawsuits against Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Cox Communications, and the Washington Post’s Cable One for violating patents Sprint has to make phone calls over digital lines. This comes just weeks after the big cable companies and Verizon got cozy – the cable companies signed a deal to hand over some of their spectrum to Verizon, the Paul McCartney of the big 4 carriers, while Verizon will market the cable companies’ service and likely not expand its own FiOs service. Oh, customer, good luck out there!
