Egypt’s military chief announced Wednesday that President Mohammed Morsi had been deposed, after days of mass demonstrations against him. On Thursday, Supreme Constitutional Court Chief Justice Mansour Adly was sworn in as Egypt’s interim president.

So where does the Egyptian economy stand? Reporter Kimberly Adams joins Marketplace Morning Report host David Brancaccio from Cairo with the latest.
