This final note today, n which we learn that all offices share some bureaucratic constants: organization charts, promotions, conference calls.

Even Al Qaeda.

The Daily Beast reported the tip that led to closing U.S. embassies in the Middle East and Africa came from an Al Qaeda conference call. Yes, really.

More than 20 Al Qaeda operatives were reportedly on the call that worried U.S. intelligence officials. A board meeting of sorts, complete with a promotion announcement. A meeting that an intelligence official described as “like a meeting of the Legion of Doom.”
