Sports pundits not exactly Nate Silver when it come to World Series predictions
This final note today, which we’ll just put out there and let you think about the value of sports punditry, a multi-million dollar business. The blog pundittracker tracked 63 talking heads in the sports world to see who correctly picked the World Series, which starts Wednesday. The result was: Zero. As in, nobody picked both the Boston Red Sox and St. Louis Cardinals to make it.
Some may say that picking both is too hard. So, how about one of those teams? Of those 63 pundits who picked either the Sox or the Cards?
Oh yes … again … zero.
Way to go everybody. Nicely done.
P.s. Go Red Sox!
