Alana Ferko manages the Butte Plaza Mall in Butte, Montana. She voted for Hillary Clinton, as did most of Silver Bow County.

She said the mall was busier the next day, “and maybe there was an emotional factor. Maybe people wanted to be out and about and visit. Not necessarily shop, but maybe they just wanted to be together and help process what happened on Election Day.”

What mood are customers in post-election?

“I think a lot of relief that it’s over,” she said. “We just go forward.”

Ferko thinks families in Butte will still spend for the holidays this year.
