SHORT BIO
Emily spends most of her time creating content for Marketplace’s social feeds and interacting with our online fans. Her love for public media blossomed at Scripps College in Claremont, where she served as DJ and host of her own weekly underground music radio show and eventually as Program Director at KSPC Claremont. Before coming to Marketplace, she also worked for Live from Here with Chris Thile in Brooklyn, New York.
When not obsessively checking Marketplace’s social channels, Emily is probably busy photographing concerts or finding Funko Pops to add to her already large collection. Originally from Houston, she also rarely ever misses watching an Astros game.
