The real-world backlash against "digital nomads"

The digital nomad lifestyle has exploded in popularity as the worst of the pandemic is increasingly in the rearview mirror. The number of people traveling full-time while working remotely is expected to reach 60 million by 2030, according to research by consultancy firm MBO Partners. More than 70 countries now have specific visas for nomads, but there’s been a backlash in some cities.
