A recent survey conducted by the University of Michigan and the Financial Times shows that a slightly larger percentage of Americans trust Vice President Kamala Harris to handle the economy over former President Donald Trump. We’ll unpack.

The hope is for continued progress on inflation, because the longer the Federal Reserve keeps interest rates high, the more it can slow down the economy.
